im making an aos map, and i made ranged heroes, casting heroes and melee heroes i have a few problems which prevent this map from being complete and i have a few questions: - how can i make it so that each hero will have different details on their ARMOR and their damage details differently? i mean all that details that says "Defense Type: Hero - Heroes takes damage from piercing attacks and magic attacks" etc.. i wanna change it so that each hero will show "Defense Type - Ranged Hero" or "Attack Type: Melee Hero", i cant get it done, i tried the gameplay constants and the only way i found out how to do it is to put a different attack and name it what i want. is there a way to do it without changing the type? - this is a weird problem, i got some ranged heroes whos' strength per level, agility per level, and ALL of their attributes are THE SAME, and when someone reaches level 10 and the other reaches 14, you compare and u see one has 90-100 damage and the other has 110-120 damage.. how can this be? +rep for anyone who can solve those things.. |

You'll have to change two of the hero-types armors and damages to something besides Hero, and then change all the text and icon information for the armor and damage types in the Advanced>Game Interface menu. Maybe one of the units has more damage because he's level 14, and thus has 4 more levels of attributes than the level 10? |

panto thanks the first answer worked for the first question but i meant that there are 2 ranged heroes who has the SAME attributes, same everything and later on i saw one of them on level 14 with 90-100 damage and another one on level 10 with 110-120 damage know any solution or a rational explanation? and another lil q i wanna do a skill which increases the range of the hero unit - set aquisition range - i dont think it'll do it u know any way to do it? cuz aquisition is just how far u can aim on it, not the actual range btw murloc lover HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i cant stop laughing your avatar is real funny :D |

Everybody wants to increase the frickin' range. There isn't an ability that does it, and it can't be triggered. There is an upgrade that increases the Rifleman attack range. If you've only got one of these heroes per player, maybe you could use that. |

Rep is not particularly important, especially when the rep'ping person hasn't gotten enough rep for their giving rep to make a difference. However, I appreciate the thought, and I'm glad you got a solution that'll work. Maybe you'll post the map and demonstrate what you did? |
