i am trying to make a spell for my footies map. what i originally intended to do was. spell based on defend, when they casted the spell... the hero would get a spiked carapace spell aswell. it would be something like. LVL 1 - 95% movement speed taken off, 10% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 130% dmg return LVL 2 - 92.5% movement speed taken off, 20% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 160% dmg return LVL 3 - 90% movement speed taken off, 30% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 190% dmg return LVL 4 - 87.5% movement speed taken off, 40% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 220% dmg return LVL 5 - 85% movement speed taken off, 50% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 250% dmg return LVL 6 - 80% movement speed taken off, 60% chance to reflect piercing attacks, 300% dmg return basically, it turns the hero into a tank... that would result in suicide if the enemy tried attacking him... (although the hero has poor health and armor... so a well place siege weapon would clean him up easy) but that didnt seem to work... what i am trying to do is make a hero that when ever he is attacked... he returns the damage back to them amplified.. top melee and ranged units (ie. archers etc. - excluding siege weaponry) because that didnt work, i tried doing a basic trigger.. having a Roar based spell that only effects himself, and gives him a specific/unique buff (this is off the top of my head, WE is not open atm) Code:

[b]Else/[/b] Do Nothing its doesnt come up though... i am certain its because the Damage Dealt function is only used with the event "unit is damaged" - but it is a unit specific, no generic event. anyone can help with my dilema? |
