Im not a newbie, some of you may actualy know me....anyway....im doing this spell from diablo 2, fist of the heavens.

For those who dont know what it does, this is waht it does in DIABLO II:

A bolt of lightning strikes a selected enemy unit, sending a bunch of holy bolt projectiles in all directions. THe holy boly deals damage to any undead unit they hit.

See i want the same thing apart im not bothered if it hits a living or undead unit as long as its an enemy unit....

So far i have the spell based in object editor which produces the instant lightning effect and from there, i made a trigger, but i dont know where to go from here. I created a dummy unit with the projectile art of the hidden holy bolt missile

EDIT: forget it i found way how to do it

good you found a way to do it...

i am pretty sure vexorian made something like that... it might be floating around in either of his spell maps or a d2 specific spellmap...

i know i had a D2 paladin spell map, i think i picked it up in the repository.

anyways, thats all irrelavent, but it could be helpful

was pretty simple from what i was tryin to do through triggers, when all i relised i need to do instead of creating dummy units to attack random units (which is hard to specifiy who where and when and how long for ) i just made one dummy unit and made it cast a modifed fan of knives....looks pretty good too.

Anyway i need some more ideas for paladin spells, i already got a static aura (unholy aura in reverse with different animations)

i have been playing d2 a bit lately... although i have had it for a while... i have never properly played it.

i personally like going the paladin... and what i love leveling up is smite and zeal... stun and multiple attacking is kickass

i suggest opening up some D2 and noting down some spells if you want to use that as a basis.
