dude, make a poll, its a good way for you to get a count as for me i think flamy yellow is good, it represents flame while the white only matches with the moon sky.... another thing, that picture is so freakin' kool!!!!! EDIT: you made a poll...good! another thing, i realized that the broken sword piece is on his arm as a shield, thats even kooler!, ....dont blame me if i didnt realize it earlier.... |

imo the orange/yellow thingy fits more - cause it goes smoother with the moose shading smooth = :god_help_us: |

yellow cuz what they said |

i dont know! you cant take out the flame because that's his only light source.... |

I think the spirity-white would be more taureny.. but the orange/yellow is much cooler. (wey, my first use of the infernal!) |

i say stay with the orange/yellow. some things you could do to improve it though, maybe show who's he's actually fighting along the edges of the picture, like maybe part of a skeleton or something in the bottom right corner where he's looking. also maybe make the fire less bright and a bit farther away so you can get some of that moonlight in as a secondary lightsource. backlighting is the shit. |

thnx beam, i love your cammentations always. but i'm not goping to add an opponant, it would get too crowded.... and there is just not enough room to properly add enough of an opponant to show. i wnated to add the flame to make it a bit more dynamic. wich i think works. i could experiment a little with backlighting it that may result in some perty stuff, but i still want him (quite literally) knee-deep in the action... meh. |

If you just brightenedup the moon, and perhaps lowered the treetops a little? |
| 12-30-2004, 11:19 PM | #10 |
flamey!!!! |
| 12-30-2004, 11:27 PM | #11 |
well if you want to show action it'd be best to show who he's fighting. also, a few opponents wouldn't take up too much room. here like this. ![]() the dude in the bottom right corner. hardly any space at all. now just add a few skeletons behind him and you got a battle scene. |

I actually like him more when he is alone, it looks more... True. Cool. Whtever. |

i think so too actually, this was never meant to be a battle... however, i could always throw in a couple... i'll just mess around with it some more. fact is that i'll wait with sending it to blizzard untill its perfect. EDIT: just noticed that placing a guy there does make the depth of the picture better... surrounding him with skellies might be not such a bad idea. i'll have to adjust the face then though, to make him look a little more pissed... |

Erwt... go with white. The orange flames draw too much attention away from the tauren, they become the brightest colours in the picture (it makes conflicting focii) As for the guys... yeah, a couple silhouettes would look pretty damn cool. icbm1987 |
