Anyone know of any good animations for a knockback ability, the best thing i can find is the death animation, (I AM NOT LOOKING FOR CUSTOM ANIMATIONS, unless if you really wanted to you could make me one) but i am mainly looking for a nice big list of GUI animations that come in the game, and a good one for a shield bash type spell

When you select a unit's model in the object editor or a unit in the main WE window, the main WE window will show a "preview" of the unit model on the left side. Clicking the arrows by this preview will cycle through all the animations which that model has. What animations a model has is entirely dependent on the model.

Death animation is best for you.

Pros:
- All units have one.
- Scream of pain
- The unit falls.

Cons:
- Blood
- Some death animations look messy.

Shame more units don't have stand hit animations like the Night Elf archer.

Yeah, and a few others, mostly models from the early WC3 I believe (the Shadow Hunter also has a stand hit animation) those anims would fit very well I'd think.

how do i get these animations you are talking about, how would i set a trigger up like that it would have those animations

Event: Billybobjoe casts X spell
Action: Order target of spell to do (whatever animations you guys are talking about)

are they in the list with all the animations?

Search for "animation" in the search tab of triggers. Choose unit animation. Then type in the correct name of the animation.

Do you know how incredibly much work that is?

I told you, frickin look at what animations a model has. If you're too lazy, you don't get the benefit of doing work.

Um...no. The amount of animations is dependant on the unit and so it would take forever to compile a list of animations specific for each and every unit. If you dont believe that that unit has only 6 animations (which it may or maynot) just open the model up in notepad and it should show all the animations. It also lists them as their exact string names as that code is what you will be calling when you input the string. I will repeat my self though...it depends on the unit. For example, the bloodmage has what 11 animations i think? However, archimonde has like 7...
