Manga Nymph girl

Here's another head ive been working on lately,

hopefully shes ok. i apologise about the shading on the head.

all comments etc are welcome.

here is the head pose of the nymph (keep in mind the nymph is based on my own imagination) she's going the be a warrior of some sort.

here's the head concept,

through these designs i might create them in 3dmax.

i will post the full pose soon.

sorry about the hair above the head, i smudged a bit too hard lol

the ears doesnt look like their attached on well
they just stick out horizontally from the head
it should have some angle to it

you have shading, but you have no real structure to it - add a light source

and eyes... i know people hate manga but im not gonna bash it, i used to draw manga, still kinda do

yea ill fix the shading except her hair lol. coz i kinda rushed it coz my finger was hurting.

oh yea
one more thing
dont mirror stuff
looks plain that way
i can see a line strait down the drawing
and ive checked out the markings
and they look mirrorred

yea i forgot to mention it was enchanced in photoshop , i just cant get the thing to look the same.

i folded it in half to try and get the other ear to look the same as you can see it still doesnt lol.



btw: for some reason everytime i upload/scan it it looks different from the one i drew o_O

i mean its chin looks like its changed... maybe coz my scanner takes out the fine lines i draw... if i dont put it on 300 reso lol

EDit- just relized her eye is a bit different than the other one...

ill change it so dont point it out.

here is a minor update, in this preview the shading is slowly progressing not to worry its only like 1/16 completed i plan on making this perfect.

You should start with realistic drawings to get proportions, shading and all that stuff andthen move to anime style imo...

now my drawing style is so f*cked up its not even funny

yea, maybe ill check out some more tutorials, but eh.

all i can say practice makes perfect, so thanks all for comments.

P.S I really need to learn poses hehe
