converting

I have two models one saved as a .3ds and the other as a .gmax how do I convert both of them so I can use them in world editor?

1) get dex's exporter
2)select everything, add animations (if theres any) and export to listener
3)select everything and before you release with your mouse right click and copy
4)paste into notepad and save as a .mdl
5)where in the skin it says skin= "" change it to skin= "Units/whatever.blp" maeks ure it doesnt overwrite anything
5)get yobguls mdl->mdx
6)convert it
7)import the modell. import the skin and set its custom path to "Units/Whatever.blp"(waht you did earlier)
8)set to a unit
9)give me a rep :-D (just jokin... mabye not ;-))

where do you get dex from?

search the forum, im not quite sure what the latest version is, but the latest i found was .60 by blinkboy
