I'm not really sure where this should go, so I'll put it here. To make a custom pathing, all you do is go into paint, and adjust the thing to the size you want it (1 pixle per small grid box, 4 per medium box(the size of a farm)) So a farm size would be 4x4 pixles total. Tools necessary: Anything that can convert into TGA, and MS paint if you don't have photoshop Choose your colors, these determine how the terrain is affected, and are listed below. Black : No effect, appears transparent in the editor Red: Only flyers Orange: Appears in the editor as Yellow, but hard to tell what it does Yellow: Ground only? Green: Appears as Green, Unknown responce (you have to get a specific color green to get it to show up) Light Blue : Only Ground Blue: No build Fussia: Air Only White: Allows NOTHING (make sence being the opposite of Black) Gray: This might = green it's hard to tell Save the newly made Pathing as a TGA file, and inport it as you would an Icon. Now, open the object, doodad, or destructable editor and find where it says Pathing. Set the file to the pathing (You probably should restart your WE like ussual before trying this) Now, go into the main window and press "P" This makes the Pathing appear. Now place the object with the pathing, and if your lucky IT WORKS! Use this to cut down on using pathing blockers and extra doodads. Using this will let 1 doodad take the place of over 100, making the limit on doodads less of a hassle, and MUCH less lag for anyone using them to block pathing. Some colors may look different than you made them, to fix this, try making a different shade of each. If the color is Brown, or Purple, there may not be a code for those, so they will appear different |
