Guest | A quick question. Ok is there a way to edit the icon files. For instance I want the key of the three moons to be changed. Like you know how there is three peices to it right. Well I want a icon for crystal two without crystal one in there. And crystal three without one and two. Is there a way to do this? Also is there a way to grant a unit to have chaos damage from an item? Like if the hero has X item in his inventory then his dmg changes to chaos.. Ok and another question. IS there a way to make the soul gem target regular units.. Or yet even better a specific type of unit. Like what I want to accomplish is where you buy a soul gem for X amount. Then you go out and if you manage to capture a frost dragon and bring back to shop then it turns into an orb of frost. Can this be done?? |

soul gem has it's own spell in abilitydata.slk so just change the target - it SHOULD work also you can do the impaling bolt trick (it's something i descovered) and set the defult atk to attack 2 (i customized my we to allow this) and have a trigger research impaling bolt when the hero picks up a item, and make the atk type of attack 1 chaos and unresearch it(can you do this?) when he drops it the only problem is that you cant have 2 atks at one time, but that shouldn't be a problem seeing that only a few units have 2 attacks enabled simultamiously |

There is one of the icons for each (3 crystals, 2 crystals, 1 crystal). When editing an item, you can pick its icon, so just switch 'em around. Or did i misunderstand your question? |

No. Ok you know how each crystal is a different color. Well I want an item with the icon of each one individual. |

Extract the blp file of the icones, convert it to tga, edit it with a picture editing tool, reconvert to blp and put the file in your map. The are several tutorial here to do this. |

Ok let me be more specific. Ok the first part of the key has a icon with 1 gem/stone in it on the left side. Then the second part of the key has a icon with 1 gem on left and in middle. Then the third one has all three. I justed wanted an icon with each of them seperatly. Like the middle one all by itself and the right one all by itself. But... the mooncrystals are separate items and the "merging" of the mooncrystals are done with triggers in the undead campaign.. |
