Guest | As of late I was fidiling around with ExtProtect and PowerMPQ and found out a way to stop Deprotect from recovering my triggers. ^_^ I will post the map I "Edited" to test this. I am in no way the origional author but I did leave his name and added my own to the editors list. Also if you can get in to the map's triggers let me know GTO_Twin Steps on this are Code:
1. Edit your map, Make backup copies in case you want to edit it again. 2. Protect it with ExtProtect. 3. Use PowerMPQ and add a almost empty (listfile)** **My list file has the line Unprotect.exe 100% of the tries with Deprotect have failed to reload my units and triggers. ^_^ Hope this helps your Deprotect-o-Phobes... Just doin my part to thwart the attempts of a Very Evil Person... {{Edit}} Fixed IE. Your welcome to play around with it. |

Why would you want to keep the GUI hidden if, apparently, Deprotect doesn't enable you to unprotect the map? (I don't use Deprotect.) |

I am a "noob" (using it in quotations, cause who desides when you are not? Noob or nerd??) But your method didn't give me problems..... I can deprotect it, but deprotect alone can't do it... { 1: Deprotect don't give you the units.doo, which means that you have to replace ALL the units/doodads/nearly everything on the map... 1 Solution: You have to recover it yourself. } (The 1 you probralely (can't spell it) know, but just to tell them who don't... others will be added, but i have to go quick...) |
