well, here's one of my drawings i did, i'll maby show some more but this is the only one i skanned (i don't have a skaner, my friend has) It's my second try on a woman, so tell me what you think. And can someone teach me to draw women faces, cuz i'm no good at it ![]() Edit: oh and it's sp dirty cuz i did it fast (and that's why the shading is not that great) |

mhhh....hhmmm...mh... firstly, try to draw on good paper, and a lot biger than that: I can't see good, and it's because of that there's not enough details. Yeah, you should add more details, and generally, be more detailled in what you draw. And also you should do some shading. try, you'll see, it's not hard and doesn't need to be learned. same for details. about faces, you can copy good drawing of faces. It's a good way to learn. keep up drawing ![]() |

Well, it's basicly done in an exercise book (cuz i don't have mcuh time to draw on good paper at home, so most of my drawing are on paper like that)And i was tired (and had no time) that's why the shading is bad, some of my drawing have better shading. Well, anyone else? |

You're right reap, the face is quite hideous, but faces are really hard until you learn quite a bit about them. Otherwise the rest of the picture is magnificent, I think you used just enough detail and it looks very good. Keep it up! |

I learned everying I know about drawing faces from the Races chapter of the D&D Player's Handbook. Sam Wood and Todd Lockwood are up there with Samwise on my scales! I like it, for the most part Good form on the torso and legs. A few mistakes I see: - The face is doing that "sag" thing, where one side seems to droop more than the other. - It seems that you drew the hand before even rough-sketching the bow. Make sure you know where the bow's going to be so you can draw the fingers around it properly. - Lack of shading makes it feel like the cloak suddenly jumps in front of the night elf on the left side, as does the way it doesn't touch the ground higher than where the boulder I assume is in front of it does. Happy drawing, or something like that. (Man, I need a catchy signoff . . .) |
