its called draw from real life draw what you see, not what you think you see there is no secret to this all just practice, show us your work, and we can help improve |

Indeed. If you see any artists you envy, they probably didn't get where they are because of some really good drawing tutorial. Practice every day, and truly, draw from life. Don't worry if it's not to your satisfaction in the beginning; books that teach you tricks or shortcuts will probably hinder more than help you. But on that note, if you feel you need something to get you started, try Andrew Loomis |

Guest | Thanks for the advice guys...I thaught people were going to call me a "newb" which means? You are new to something? Am I right? Well anyways that Loomis tutorial was great help and got me started...i'm going to draw all the time now ... maybe even take a few art classes in school who knows ..thanks a bunch guys... PS: tomorrow, i'm not paying attention to class! muhahahaha! i'm going to be drawing lol....just kidding ... no really i'm going to be drawing ( <--from dodgeball , he says jk then he says no really ... lol funny stuff ) |
