Stuck at level 5

I'm building an RPG map, I have the max level in gameplay constants set to 15 but heros stop gaining XP at level 5. How do you make it so you can get past level 5?

Without changing the gameplay constants, heroes won't gain exp. for killing creeps once they hit level 5. I don't remember exactly what its called but its under the hero section somewhere. Change that, or make it so you're fighting units owned by an enemy player instead of neutral hostile.

Ah ok, I'll try that. I already looked through the list earlier but didn't see anything. Guess I'll look again.

It's the creep reduction table. At lvl 5 it's 0 I think. Just change it to 50 or something.

Thanks, I'll test that out.

In that creep reduction table, get rid of all the integers there (there should be 4 or 5), and then create a new one with the value 100. That will solve your problem.

Making the integers decline slowly will cause a hero to need to kill more creeps to get to his next level. Making everything 100 will mke him level up faster, which in an RPG isn't always a good thing.

You still need more exp per level Greyarchon, the numbers in the creep reduction table is only a % of what you earn compared to normal lvling(lvling on enemy units). Making everything 100 will cause the hero to lvl up pretty fast yes, because you gain so much by getting 1 lvl.

I know that. :)

I already got it figured out, it seems a little slow using the defualt values +10 so the last one is 50 instead of 0 (Normaly the value before 0 is 50) So I might try messing with it some more.
