im surprised i still remember this stuff. an effect is basically a special effect. the special effect for any aura is always that little blue glow around any unit affected by it. a buff is what happens as a result of that effect or a spell. lets take any aura... the buff is what makes the unit have a life stealing attack, more armor, or increased regeneration. i could bust out the object editor and look into it more if you wish. do ye get it now, or should i explain more? hope i could help. -flamey |

Hmm, so, can you add another buff to a aura so the aura will get 2 "things" ? example: Like adding the buff: Endurance Aura(what's it called? :S) to the devotion aura, and getting the result an aura which gives speed boost and defense boost? |

no, doing that only adds another icon to the units 'status' bar at the bottom of the screen. it does nothing to effect the actual condition of the unit. to do that, youd have to make a dummy spell and do some flibertyjabbit with triggers to make it work, which is something i dont do :-\ sorry about that mate. |
