Could somebody please make me a group of 9 (no more, no less) arrows for a "volley" projectile art. I need three animations if possible: - birth: arrows are arrayed in a group about 45 away from each other the move apart until they are covering an area of roughly 250. - stand: arrows remain in the final position of the birth animation without moving. - death: arrows disappear. (all distances are warcraft 3 map editor distance) The volley projectile art is for the model in the screenshot below, this may help you out a bit. Good luck! Wilbo |

Mabye thats a bit too hard for you. Would anyone do it without the spreading-out motion for the arrows? |

please guys, I really need this model for my mod. Do you want my regiments to shoot one arrow at a time?! |

I know my request is unessesarily complexe, but I did add that people are free to bring it down a little. I know enough to know that I know practicly nothing about modelling, or else I would be saying "how hard can it be to stick a bunch of arrows together?". I understand that any type of modelling is difficult, so difficult infact that I sometimes wonder why any request are ever answered; but they are, so there must be people out there prepared to spend time making models for others. I don't care how long somebody takes to make a model, as long as they say that they will do it one day. Then again, most people prefer to be free from commitment, and will give you the model if they succeed, but untill then you won't hear a word from them. It does make you feel kind of lonely. Its nice to have someone to talk to... Wilbo |

I'm going to just post your cavalry request stuff here. Is this fine, model-wise? It's 131 polygons, so that will get up there with 9 of those. |

That's excellent! I'm afraid I don't know much about polygons except that if there are many, the file is larger. I am pretty sure however that 9 of these will be less of a strain than 9 normal wc3 knights. Is the mount going to stay white? The contrast does look rather good as you can see where the horse stops and the rider begins. The adaptation of the other model is really useful and looks great so thanks a lot. Could you please use the same sort of animation for the cavalry, if possible. I think I might put a thread in the team gathering section (if there still is one, last time I posted there was years ago) as there are a few other things I will need apart from models, though they may be on the downloads section. At any rate it will organise things a bit. PS: Oinkerwinkle, I thought you said you "might do the cavalry some other time" :) edit: I have now made the thread, so other posts can be put there if they arn't directly related to this thread. I don't really care if you don't them here anyway, but I have made a project thread and that's what its for. http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=71120 |

Ok, someone put my thread in the "off topic-discussion" section for some reason. So I will just talk here until it is put back in its rightful position. on the "team discussion" section. I would like to ask Oinkerwinkle, if he is still here, if he would please make the horse black. |

The thread is now in the "maps in devolpment" section, which is probably a better place for it than the "campaign/team discussion" one, coming to think of it. I am pretty sure the adress is the same, but just in-case, I will put it in again: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=71120 On this note I would like to request that this thread be closed, It's not really being used for its original purpose and I am going to re-post my request in the Forge. |
