Guest | I'm makeing a new game but I want to transfer the stats from one of my games to the other, is it possible? Could you like copy paste the stats or do i need a 3rd party program? Also, is it possible to transfer terrinan, triggers or spells? Thanks for any info you can provide! |

You can transfer most stuff with just World Editor (mpq' it and then transfer) but a less risky way is to World Editor Unlimited 1.17. You can get it from somewhere here and it allows you to safely extract any information from a map and then import into another map. If you want to transfer stats, i believe the only way is either manuelly or importing units (though it will overwrite existing units). |

what are you talking about? there is an import/export feature... you just click "export triggers" in the trigger editor, "export unit data" in the unit tab of the object editor and "export spell data" in the spell tab of the object editor |

Yea but you can't transfer terrain, game interface, unit location, doodad location, etc without doing what i said. |

You can select the whole map's worth of terrain, preplaced units, and doodads by going to the appropriate palette, selecting everything (Ctrl+A), copying it (Ctrl+C) and pasting it into the new one (Ctrl+V). You can have multiple maps open at a time and switch between them. |
