Hum, the use of the kind of pencils are at artist discretion, personnaly i enjoy whatever pen available as long i have a 3H with me, preskecthing is really important and must not be apparent, so 3H is a good pen to get, a normal HB do the job after presketching, i also like my pilots markers a lot, cheap and precise. |

a regular old mechanical pencil and rubber eraser works for me. ofc, im not that great, but i still like doing it. if you dont feel like spending money, keep in mind that a regular pencil and eraser will suite just fine. all you need to do is practice, maybe look at some online tutorials on form, shape, shading, etc, but remember that expenisive pencils dont always make u a better drawer. |

have you tried hitting the paper with a fish yet? that and the traditional #2 pencil works too. |
