THere is a easy way to change the movement type of a unit?
like a have a fottman ( ie he can only walk) and then with a spell/research, he can fly???

Maybe there is a easy action to modify the movement and i didn't have notice it ^^ (but if it is true oNdizZ will kill me.... )

PS: i know how do that with 2 units one normal and one flying... But it's not very happy

You can combine these two things:
* Add and immediately remove a modified Metamorphosis ability to the unit, for which you have to set the alternate unit to a flying unit, like a gryphon rider or something. This enables you to modify the flying height of the unit, even if it is not a flayer.
* Second is to turn off the collision of the unit, which enables it to go over rivers, and the like.

I attached a map which might explain it better. Take care though, it doesnt really equal flying. The unit will often use pathing as like the obstacles are there, the selection circle will stay below etc, but it comes close..

You could probably use that "obsidian statue transforming into a destroyer" ability. That's an ability that transforms a ground unit to a flying one.

-Umm, it's an undead unit ability. Umm, OK, I don't know how to best describe it but perhaps this will work - the obsidian statue looks like a mythical bird holding a wand or something and sitting on top of a box sort of. - You can probably figure out which one that is in the editor by looking at the graphics display of the units in the main editor - there's not that many undead units. And if you're having trouble figuring out which is the undead in your editor, they're the ones with spider-like creatures and skeletons in their army - just play the game and you'll figure it out after mucking around. I'm assuming that you won't have too much trouble figuring out what is undead.

Once you can figure out which is the obsidian statue unit in your editor, you can check what abilities it has - it has three - one for healing (icons are probably the same in your editor - so this is green), one for mana replenishment (blue), and the last with button position X=3, Y=2 is the one we're after - you'll see that it has fields like "alternative unit ID" and so on.

Hope this helps you pin it down. If I recall correctly, it is called the destroyer ability.
