Guest | Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the old Abilitydata.slk? I have a theory, and feel free to prove me wrong, that the programmers didn't take out the functionality of some Beta spells/abilities - they just took their reference out of the Abilitydata.slk and the applicable text files. Some of the old abilities, from what I have heard, were quite interesting (such as one hero had the ability to give full upgrades to other units as a spell, for a duration of time). |

Guest | Nope, Sorry. I do have the heroabilites.slk beta but when I tried using black arrow, poison arrow and create gold mine they didn't work. |

They got removed during the beta.. I'm pretty sure that on beta 1.34 or even before, they removed the code for black arrow and stuff. |

its true, ive tried all the beta spell codes, and they arent in the retail version, arent even in the last version of the beta |

1. try extracting the file(s) from beta 1.00... 2. yes the alpha/beta stuff are really interesting (e.g. marketplace that let you trade gold for lumber and vice versa) |

Marketplace wouldn't be hard to emulate with triggers. Quite easy actually. |
