I'm making a World-Wide RPG that have many maps (like WOW) and i'm good as triggerrer, but my terrains aren't so good, check it out:

thereare just too many WoW mas that anyone actually interested in one, would have joined one aldready... i am working on SORTA a WoW map, but it's different, it's called unsung legends, it is set in warcraft universe, and follows the story ine up to TFT, then has it's linear story line, we will have about 10 races or more, and there's soo much to explain if you're interested PM or post again

No, I am referring to the entire FAQ and it was directed at Olavo, the thread creator. Threads like this will be closed or deleted at the start of the next month, so people should have read the FAQ by then, otherwise my reputation will surely go down :P

I'm NOT making a WOW map, i'm making an RPG that i started and closed the project that has AD&D Hit system, And other diferent features. It's not a WOW map, if people love making such Wow map, they could just wait and buy the game! no, i'm not making an Wow map

ok the campaing is about a continent ther has many areas, as dry forest, jungles, maibe icy montains and something similar to the Barrens. You will be able to start as human, elf or troll (in the first version only human!) So you will be able to find several low level quest as: "Help! my son has drank poisoned water! Can you find for us some rare herbs??"

and there will be a major quest: The World is faling into some kind of collapse, becouse of the lost equilibrium that a great ancient hero has coused to the world when he start falling to insanity of the overPower! you will finding some trakc of him (the anciant hero) and you will discover the whole thing and will start a search for the order. But whilke that you will live a very cool RPG world (like D&D or AD&D) where the NPC will have a AI that allow the to realy talk to you, and you to give orders to them (they shall follow your lead or not :P)

So here is my skilll> I'm a good triggerer! i got good ideas (at last i hope so), i can terrain some good maps (or some bad) so i need a fine terreiner! i will post a map of the country and you guys will see if you like or not.
a modeler or a fine triggerer would be very usefull! :P

You will be able to start as human, elf, troll or dwarf. each on has it own main cityand other villges and stuff like that. (in the first version you will be able to only with humans) So you will find several low level quest as: "Help! my son has drank poisoned water! Can you find for us some rare herbs for the potion mixing??" so you will be able to freely travel betwen the maps and the quest will follow you and there is a food system where you will need to eat as we eat, from time to time. so you will need to hunt some animals, or buy food.
The hit system is done. It is based in AD&D real RPG hit system whit THACO and AC. there will be 6 RPG like different cameras, where you can switch betwen them very easly, and by pressing 1 key you will change the camera height. :o

I like your enthousiasm, but did you consider joining a project instead of making your own?

If you want to make it yourself, then what makes it truly unique? I assume the AI part is one thing.. could you elaborate on it? Will this be complex or just a "follow along and help" command? Will there, for example, be interactive romances or hatred? And most important, how will you do it? Something like this would require very intensive planning... If i were you, I would try to come up with a system to handle it first, write the paths through it, in detail, and come back, asking for help, with that document as your backup. I for one, might be interested..

I dont want to take down your spirit, but what you are making sounds like a mix of unsung legends and bibendus world to me. You could check these projects out first.. I'm sure one of them can use a terrainer or a triggerer. You might want to consider joining one of these, in the hope of actually finishing something. If not, you have a very very long road ahead of you.

The Ai system will be called Talk system
there will not only be a attack, follow & wait AI system
You will talk to the NPC's, they will answer and your command or order or anything else will be heard or not
The NPC's don't have to obey you
you will rave a reputation bar that will say if they will follow your lead or not
it's up to your and there will be many talking at the game i'm sure that there will be lot of fun! anyone intrested in joining now?????? I hope so!
