Here is a new project i am working on. It is based on Resident Evil: The umbrella Conspiracy (thats a book by S.D. Perry) You all have probably played a survival game before like NOTD or Resident Evil NightMare Features Story Line - Most survival games you start off in a spot and try to regroup and kill off all the incoming zombies, Witch is nearly impossible to win. This map will have a story line mainly taken from the book. During the month of June 1998 there had been some reported canibal like attacks. The starts eventually come and send a team to investigate. You are on the Beta team when you find out the other team (alpha team) has been lost and out of contact. Your boss sends the beta team in to investigate. You approach the old abandoned mansion by chopper. You have get out and walk by foot. You come across a weakage of the STARS Chopper. Then mutated dogs jump out of the woods and start mutilating one of your teammates. You start to shoot but it was to late. There were to many so you have n choise but to run. As you near your awaiting chopper the rookie pilot gets scared and tacks off without you. Now you must run to the abandoned mansion. Once in you must find another way out. You quickly learn this mansion is anything but abandoned. Quest - As you explore you the mansion for ways out you find diary entrys from the co-workers about secret laboratorys and helpful weapon developments. Camera Aspect - Like real life you cannot see the vision of other people on your team. you are equipted with distress signals and the works. The camera is also locked in a 3rd person over the shoulders view. Ammunition - Already incooperated in lots of survival modes there is limited ammo. You all have the standard issued barretta, with 12 rounds in a clip and only 2 starting clips pluse the 12 loaded bullets. Reloading causes you to stop for several seconds making you vulnerable. you can also drop magazine clips for your team in need Weapons - During your quest to escape you find many weapons. The Weapons are charged items that dammage the targeted unit. This is to stop people from hording all the weapons. Energy System - Just about every action you do will require energy (mana) applying bandages ( healing ) shooting rockets, Disinfecting your self, Sprinting, ect. will all require enery witch can be regained 1 mana per 4 seconds or buy drinking refreshments Units These are the units i have currently, more will be added just i need a few for testing purpases STARS - This is you Speed:100% Dammage: 30-40 HP: 100 Abilitys: Knock back (bash 100% 0 dammage bonus) Sprint, Reload, Adrenaline (Attacks 50% faster, takes 100% more dammage) Anti Venom (Removes all effects including positive ones) Zombie - The unit you will be running into the most. It is a worker from the laboratory who has been infected by the virus. Speed:About 70% of your speed Dammage: 15-30? HP: 80 Abilitys: Each time it attacks it will cast virus spell. Does 2 dammage a second for about a minute Mutated Dog - Mans best friend infected with the virus Speed:About 150% of your speed Dammage: 40-50? HP: 65 Abilitys: Virus *NEWDiabloic type - Many various critters (skunk, raccoons, rabbits) that have turned savage. Mainly just there to kill off newbs and waste your ammo Speed:Varies Dammage: 10-15 HP: 15 ( 1 hit kills them ) Abilitys: None *Below i attached what the starting place will look like Please post what you think of this |

Guest | Well I really like RE maps, and this one will be good I am sure. Make sure that it isn't too large like the other maps out there because you can't ever play them on B.net. Looks good, once you get some terrain I am sure it will come together. I think that you should make random quests to make the game change each time you play it. |

lol finally i got a reply after a month. dont worry the game shouldnt be to big. i just got a couple skins (no models) so the size is about 500kb now. The current problem i have is that this is suppost to be in a mansion, WE doesnt come with very many indoors doodads, so the rooms i do make all look the same after a while |

Guest | I suggest that you bring this problem to the terrain forum, they could probably give you some ideas. And about the topic not getting posted in after a month: Start the revolution! No one around here posts, but the site boasts 50k members... odd. |
