today, friday, did this... ken'tel and morbid's flamethrower revolvers! doubles as a revolver or a quick inferno of a flamethrower!

yea.. a lot of you stuff looks like deaths.. which is kinda weird. i like the hands really much... if u color it, it would be awesome looking... or at least the way i envision it. the other stuff isnt that good.. its like deaths stuff.. but only not as good(sorry :( )

Shadow, just one question...

Do you use Death's drawings as reference?

If that is the case, then stop doing that, it will most likely stop the "you draw like death" comments.

I'm seeing improvement, but you kinda need to work on facial structure...

I really like the dreadlord, but I wish you had spent more time on it and that you had taken the time to presketch.

One more thing, don't go so crazy with the folds on the clothes, I know it's cool to have really jagged folds, but drawing realistic folds will help you make them look more natural. They kinda suck right now.

i only do that with fan art
which i almost hardly ever do

Ok, then do one thing for me.

Do not look at any of Death's pictures for a few days (Consider it a temporary boycott of his artwork, only for self-improvement purposes though, not because of some injustice), and then draw a couple of your own and post them.

Oh, and the pointy chin thing looks weird now, try to vary the facial structure a bit more, especially on the females... all of death's females have pointy chins...

Do not look at Death's pictures to try and not be him, just keep them out of your mind completely and be yourself.

The "it looks like death" comments will stop eventually, just draw alot until you find a more comfortable & unique style.

(I don't really have that problem because I've always been kinda odd)

there's nothing bad about looking at other ppls art for reference... i used to do it to Kimchi's all the time, and mine were never as good as his.. as long as you learn and improve, it doesnt really matter what u do.

You know what? Screw what I said before... just remember to draw in red pencil from now on.

There's just something different about your drawings which you do with that red pencil...

That chibi stuff is alot more original, I can't claim that it "looks like {insert name here}'s work"

That's really not chibi... the guy holding the wrench is normal size...

there's just more depth and originality to your red pencil drawings... and they look much better stylistically than your normal pencil ones...

I normally would say that the tool doesn't make a difference, but... goddamn...

I kinda wish that Ogre would give you some feedback, he's much better at doing that than I am.
