Guest | I tinkered around with some skills and they seem to work fine when I test the map by myself. However, I read in the tutorial that you needed to attach the altered files to the map before the changes will show up on other people's computer on Battlenet. Anyone know how to go about doing this? Im using TechMPQ and the readmes state nothing about this. I tried using WinMPQ but it gave me a error. I admit Im a editing noob so go easy on the flames. Thanks in advance, S1lverfish |

Guest | There are various threads about how to insert files into a map. First, check the tutorial section of WC3Campaigns. If there isn't a tutorial, then do a search on something like "adding", "map", "abilityfunc.txt" |

well, if ur attaching stuff, i suggest using MoPaQ2000 (MPQ2K). It's not the easiest way, but thats how i do it. |

It's very easy. To attach files to maps, just use WINMPQ to do it. Get the latest version of it too. (the one that uses SFMPQ thing) I recomend having the map in a different folder, and WINMPQ and your files together in one. Make sure that you've installed the things that come with WINMPQ and adding files should work fine. |
