Guest | For mikefw256 Skull said something about sound is the last thing you had to add -> he is NOT an experienced triggers Really, this is a bug fixed in 1.04 of wc3. Which can be avoided with the older versions by simply SAVING YOUR MAP BEFORE TESTING. If you test the map and it saves, it will delete all imported sound files. About noise reduction, well 1. Don't face the microphone so you won't breathe into it 2. Export one of Blizz's sound files, delete everything and go for it. This is useful since blizz use a very expensive program to do it(Also can be enhanced by Nero Wave Editor by noise reduction even after exporting) Next Question?!? (About triggering in general) -LiQuiD NiNjA -> Map triggering expertise |

You 'rule supreme in the world of triggering'? Wow, I don't know about that, but you're certainly hardly Mr Humble are you? ^_^ I don't recall Skull ever claiming he was an experienced trigger person. He administrates this site and organises many things as far as I know. I wouldn't call him 'Dumb' either, as he is at least keen to avoid the mistakes made in Rise of Krill and to learn from them. :) Noise Reduction: 1. Guh? Not facing the microphone? So you have your head turned away from it? :P True, you shouldn't have the microphone directly in front of your mouth - I have it at the side to avoid breathing getting picked up- but that's nothing to do with noise reduction exactly. 2. Eh? How does was that work? If you want the same sound rates as Blizzard, you can simply set them like that when you save a recording. Noise reduction can also be applied in Goldwave and Cool Edit, though I've not used said Nero program yet. Question- why aren't you replying to the thread instead of posting a new topic? |

Guest | Well, I'm sorry magic and skull. I apologize...... Just delete this post or kick me for insulting you guys then..... :( Besides the triggering part has nothing to do with sound. I know, I'm an idiot. And when you said how exporting blizz's sound files would help? Try it out yourself, it gets rid of the static BADLY |
