Greetings. This is a short demonstration of how to make a firebreathing ability using a simple special effect and an orb "carrier" ability. Everything you need to know is inside in the form of custom abilities and units. EDIT: Re-uploaded map to fix link. EDIT: Since the (I hope accidental) change to the Orb abilities so that they no longer fire except when you deliberately order the unit to attack, this demo is no longer as useful. It seems like kind of an issue to me, but Blizzard hasn't fixed it in the last few patches. This is as of 1.20c. |
