Camera makes game unplayable...

I personally think it would be just fine without the camera...

I found it hard to move around, let alone shoot, or even use the snipe ability.

In a full house, everyone complained, in a series of 4 games.

Cool, but take a suggestion...

-Remove camera, or replace it with something playable.

-edit

which faggot gave me red rep for posting this?

First of I'd like to thank you for the feedback. Feedback is really the only way to find out what people think of your maps and so I can't express how much I like to get it. Even if it's been said a hundred times before I like to get feedback.

First of I'll try to defend my map just to make sure you used all the options available to you. For instance did you try to adjust the camera using the different camera settings (zoom, angle, etc)? I know that I have no problem witht he camera but I've played the game hundreds of times while developing it so I don't notice it. I realise now that for new players it adds a somewhat unecassary level of difficulty and a learning curve that really detracts people from playing again.

If you have tried the camera options than I have some bad news for you. I have no time to make any kind of changes. After three years I've finally gone back to school (taking Computer Programming) and since the beginning of January I've had absolutly no time for Wc3. If you would like to try to make the changes yourself then send me a PM and we can figure something out.

Heh, this is unfortunate since you really didn't do anything deserving of bad reputation. I'll give you some good rep since, good or bad, I love getting feed back. I hope that offsets it.

I zoomed it out as far as possible and all that. Looking left and right helped slightly. but the overall feel felt quite slow.

Its not THAT hard. Jeez. If the cameras removed. Id kill myself because its another remix.

Besides of that. Camping makes you get used to the camera EXTREMLY fast. Try that.

EDIT: Dont hold left and right for too long. It screws up everything.

Well, if I could implement a camrea system like that of WorldofWarcraft I would do it in an instant. I'll admit, t is difficult to use but you can get used to it - if you want. I did, and the people I played it with regularly did. But some people don't bother. I did mention somewhere that the learning curve is a little on the high end. Mostly because of the camera issues people experience.

Yea, I played the game a lot, and it's tough getting used to it, but once you do, you're set, and it's not hard at all. I suppose I'd recommend that the default camera settings were the ones that I always set it to, which is the lowest angle and the farthest back, to give me the most view of terrain before and behind the rifleman.

But, I'm sure other people have different preferences.

The camera is great. If it didn't have this camera, I wouldn't play it because it would be exactly like any other sniper map.
