ok, i know a lot about triggers, units, and a decent amount about spells and terrain. I have experimented with many maps as well as opening many maps to discover new ways to do several things.



-Why make it for WCIII?
well, on the first post, as you can see, he thought this was pointless, so i thought i'd add this
>Edit maps with greater flexibilty when its done(yes, that means you can edit it!)
>Exact health and damage they have/inflict
>You know people will always be on(unlike YR were its desserted at night)
>More people to ask for editing help(if there interested in further editing there own custom maps)
>Hopefully WAY less lag when hosting

-What is Yuri's Revenge???
ok, you should knw what yuri's revenge is if your going to sighn up for this, yuri's revenge is a game made by Westwood. Its a modern war-like game against russia and US. first, its the expansion to RA2. If you wanna try this game out, it will probably cost you $20 at the most for both cd's, since westwood has made about 2 newer games, plus, its over 3yrs old(dont know exactly how old). ANYWAY, ill tell you how it is in the storyline ^_^

ok, if you have already played the game, then you dont need to read this, unless you forgot the storyline, since it'll be the same as the game. It all started when Alex Romonav, the leader of Russia, and Yuri, some random guy who knows much about the mind and studies it a lot(mind cntrl and other junk like that), decide to team up against the US to RULE THE WORLD!!Unfortunantly for them, the US had some new technology made by this weird looking scientists, and it gets better and better for the US tech-wise as the war goes on. now, the russians decide to mess with US, so when the army finds all these subs, tanks, aircraft, etc entering there territory, they get worried, and so the army consult the president about this. Then, the President(believe it or not, hes friends with Alex) decides to give Alex a call ^_^ (it gets better!!!lol). They both talk, and talk, and talk, and after it all, the President decides he would give permission for the army to, well....fight back with nukes (told you it'd get better!!) and the army. now, the people working the nukes get a 'lil phone call from Yuri. OK, now from here, it will sound REALLY gay, but believe me, its a cool storyline when u watch the game and play it. Yuri calls these guys with his new mind-control phone (i was right again!!) and then takes control of this guy. This guy picks up a gun and points it to his partner. "What are you doing?!?! You need to open the nuke hatches. HURRY, PRESS THE BUTTON" or, he says something like that. So the hatches stayed close, and BOOM, the nukes go off in there own base!!"is it over??" says Alex Romanov "No, its just the beggining of the end" says Yuri

The battle went on, and on, and on, and on, while Yuri was *secretly* making an army in Russia and increasing his knowledge with mind-control and how it works, along with more efficient towers. Now, as the war goes on, eventually Yuri releases his army and uses his tech to overpewer both Russia and the US, so it was 1v1v1. NOW, US wanted to alie with Russia, and when they FINALLY grew a brain and agreed, they had a meeting to sighn a treaty, but Yuri tried to kill romanov and the President :( . How did he know, well, buy the game! After all this is done and the treaty is sighned, they both went after Yuri. Although he fought a good battle, if you want to know the ending, GET THE GAME, this is only an idea of the game, but if you buy the game and beat it, you will betterunderstand how this whole thing goes :o (really?!?!)

Sorry dude, but I just don't think you'll find this happening, too many futureistic s, if you wanna play yuri's revenge, play it normal on RA2.

but the point of this will not only be the fact that you could edit YR maps for WCIII with more flexibilty, but playing the game also gives you more info. On the real game, a lot of stuff is never displayed, so theres another + side. also, amlost nobody plays YR, its deserted, and if you have it on WCIII, you can play this, and if your bored afterwards, just play something else w/o having to switch over games ^_^
