If you want to try, put it in your map and see if you can play it on bnet. It was figured that it couldnt go on bnet in other patches, but no one i know of has tried it on bnet yet. And make sure you replace it correctly. |

get winmpq from the dl section, open war3patch.mpw with it, find units\miscdata.txt (i think it's under units\) drag it into a folder or your desktop, open and change it, open war3patch.mpq or a map with winmpq, drag it in, give it the same path name as before (units\) and the end... it the file does not appear in the mpq/map, it means that the file is open already and in use... |

I think it might work if you add the change the miscdata.txt, and put it into the game with mpq2k. I think when you put something new in, it goes of that. Just make sure you keep the same name as the old .txt. |

Put it in the patch.mpq or the war3.mpq, but DO NOT put it in your map cause it won't do anything. I think someone should put a quick tutorial on how to do this for single player things in the Repository so it doesn't get asked everyday. |

For multiplayer maps to have a greater lvl limit, ALL of the players must have the modified ppatch.mpq or war3.mpq and EVEN THEN, I'm not sure that it would actually work right. |

Yes it works on single player, but after he gets lvl 10, he doesnt get more skills.... how do u fix that? |

Guest | If you mean he doesnt get more skill points, you have to change the number at 0x3CC9C2 (for version 1.04) in the game.dll (make sure to back up first). This number should be ten, so set it higher in order to get skill points at higher levels. If you mean ya hero doesn`t get any more skills (spells), you have to change abiltydata.slk for the skills you want at higher level. However, with this you cant make more as 4 level spells. |

Game.dll in the war3.mpq. Make a copy of your stuff before you do this. |
