Guest | http://audacity.sourceforge.net Has most of the major features that Sound Forge and Cool Edit have. Works on Linux (!! :)), Mac, and Windows platform. It's an extremely advanced editor for being open sourced, and is really coming of age now. Try it out. Dolby Sound Engineer for Team Reaction http://www.teamreaction.com |

I've seen this recommended on the other sound forum I visit, so I think it's time I tried it out. Thanks for the link. =) |

Guest | No problem, let me know what you think. I'm more of a Sound Forge user but I found it rather easy to use :). |

Guest | Very cool. Noise reduction, point and click amplification editing, just about everything. However, is there a way to "slow down" the sound within Audacity? |

Haven't checked, but if it hasn't then it's because the coders haven't, or aren't, doing the features. I'm sure Goldwave can do it, and Cool Edit can do it more cleanly. |
