Very good drawing. I think there's a few anatomical issues, but I can't see good, because it's the dwarf anatomy ... I like the runes ![]() |

Guest | The hands are too large, but its an awesome drawing. Looks like an angry old dwarf King; or, replace axe and hammer for a staff, and he looks like a dwarf warlock casting some spell. I like the detail of the runes, and the beard. Really good job. Salutions® |

Heh, very nicely done dwarf, although the arms seems a bit too thin? |

Very nice. Did I see that somewhere in a warhammer book or something? It looks so familiar. |

Thank you. I don't think that you've seen this on Warhammer... At least I did draw this from my own head. Maybe it's because I do love the art on Warhammer and of course it then influences my works, though I did not copy this traight from anywhere... EDIT: Oh yeah, about the anatomy... I roughly drew the arms and legs in the start and intentionally went for shorter legs. That may give the vision as if the anatomy sucks big time when it only just sucks ^_^ |

Guest | Great details despite the thin arms - I guess that's really the only thing not quite right. As for people who say that it looks familiar, I think there's a Blizzard concept art of the Mountain King in a relatively similar pose (I believe that the picture is also used in either the loading screen or the score screen of a normal game). But then I guess when you draw dwarven warriors, there's really limited number of poses that you can draw them in to conform with the typical stereotype of this race. Well done, nonetheless - I especially love the beard. |

Yep, it might be some sort of warrior/paladin... Or just plainly paladin... Though I did not think of any specific "class" while doing this. And the pose is similar to the Mountain King picture in the score/loading screen (heck, can't remember which) and that character also uses hammer and axe. In many aspects, dwarf warriors look the same, there really is no that much space ;) |
