several neutral hostile spells such as finger of death and firebolt goes thru magic immunity isn't that right? i am wondering whether all neutral hostile spells such as breath of fire or entangle goes thru avatar as well, any ideas? |

Finger of Death is considered a "physical" effect, and does go through magic immunity. To my knowledge, firebolt doesn't go through magic immunity. Whether spells are in the Neutral Hostile secion or not has nothing to do with their (in)ability to ignore magic immunity. :) |

Spells with lvl req. 6+ are regarded as ultimates and will also ignore spell immunity. |

Changable under gameplay constants. |

Wierd stuff can happen with this, too, for example turning spells that weren't meant to be ultimates into ultimates. You can cast an ultimate shadow strike on a magic immune unit, but the spell will do no damage over time (the buff will be there, just the unit's hp won't decrease.) |

Guest | As of 1.18 it seems that ultimates don't go through magic immunity. Can anyone help with this? What did blizzard do? |

Change it in Gameplay Constants. If you look in there you'll see a bit about "Ultimates Ignore Spell Immunity" or something similar. Just switchy it. And yes, an ultimate is any spell with a level requirement of more than 1. Also, spells that arnt actually magical go through spell immunity. (Critical Strike) |
