How do I add in materials ???? So I can use several textures in one model instead of just 1 ? Im asking since i havent figured this out yet. |

to add a material (in gmax) go to the material editor in the upper right hand corner. It looks like a checkered ball being painted. Click on New standard material and then scroll down to maps. for diffuse map check the box and choose bitmap (or checkered for unwrapping) select the file you want to use for previewing and apply it to a mesh that yuo want that material to be for. Then, if you want to use another material (normally if your using bliz texs also) create another material and apply it to a seperate section of the mesh |
