As you may have noticed, certain units belonging to Neutral Passive (NOT Hostile) player have tooltips shown with their name when you move the cursor over them. (Examples: circle of power, melee shops/camps). However, if you edit/create custom units out of these ones, the tooltips stop showing even if units still belong to Neutral Passive. Does anyone know a way to make those tooltips show even on edited units? (I need to have more than 3 types of CoP units with tooltips) Thanks in advance. |

i think you mean the description of the unit.building, am i right? this isnt a trigger (but then again, i dont know where to ask this either :( ), you actually have to go in the "object editor" and then select the unit you want edited. after this, a different box full of selecyions shows on the right. Scroll to the very bottom of this and select something called something like "Tool-top" or "tool-top extended". i forget exactly whats its like, but it'll look something like that. GL on your map ^_^ hope this helped! |

No, not the unit tooltip displayed when you buy/build it. Try placing a Neutral Passive Circle of Power somewhere on the map and then point your cursor to its location (in-game). You will have a tooltip saying 'Circle of Power' (the unit name). I'm taliking about this one. |

Guest | set "Is a unit" to TRUE and its level to 0 if it is a circle of power or a shop and to more if it is a unit |

First, there is no such object editor field as "Is a Unit". The closest one is "Is a Building" but making the circles of power units instead of buildings does nothing as well as changing their level both in building and in unit modes. Any other suggestions? EDIT: I am attaching a test map to show the problem exactly: |

Text - Name - Editor Suffix |

Guest | 1 - Forgive me i thought circles of power were considered as buildings 2 - "Text - Name - Editor Suffix": Thats 100% false, the editor suffix is a suffix that is added to the test, and can only be seen in the world editor, it is used to make some "personnal notes" about units 3 - I browsed a bit through my WE today thinking about this problem while doing another map, and I'm sorry but I found absolutely nothing, and when I test I get the same problem as you exactly. At least I'd have tried to help ![]() |
