I wonder if it is possible to give a item the chaos ability, and that the hero that picks up the item will be changed.. Is it possible? And if it is please tell me how to do so! |

Well.. ..I did, but I maybe did wrong.. I created the ability as a "unit" ability becouse unit abilities on items often affect the units while others not. Quote:
I wanted to know, as you said, if someone have tested it before.. |

I assume that nothing happened when you tried it, or you would have mentioned something. It seems like it probably won't work like that, then. However, there's nothing keeping you from making a trigger that fires when the unit acquires that item and gives the unit the Chaos ability that you want it to use. |

I had boring this morning so I tested some things, and it worked! I created a permanent item with the chaos ability.. ..As I wrote it worked, but when the item is dropped the unit is still the alternative form.. ..I now wonder how to change that.. The paladin(example) picks up the item and is changed to an Blood Mage(example). And when the paladin(who now is a blood mages) drops the item it is still a blood mage. how to change this that it will be turned back to a paladin again??? |

You'll have to give it a Chaos ability that changes it back with triggers when it drops the item. I suppose you could try giving each hero a Chaos ability that changes it into itself. Maybe that Chaos would come into play again when the item Chaos is lost. |

That maybe will work! And if it bug is there a priority field in spells? |

The priority field is just for Spellbreakers to decide what buffs to move, I believe. |

Have you tried using the "Chaos" ability? It switches Units between eachother. If you were to make two versions of your Paladin... one with and one without chaos damage, you could let the item trigger the Chaos ability. Maybe. :) |

Yea, that's what I was saying before. If the item chaos didn't work at all, I was going to recommend you put together a couple very simple triggers to give the unit the appropriate Chaos abilities when it gains and loses the item. |
