Now... I did not be active to this forum for awhile but I'm back and want to make a mmorpg. This wont have a base storyline but will have quests, the difference from this rpg and others is: 1: I'd like to make a item system like you click on a sword icon in your inventory and you can equipt a sword in the new slot. Thats were you put your weapon and the same for armor, shield anything that we would need. 2: An ability system... Something were you dont just get spells by leveling up but for doing quests and that... Something with maybe a buyin system type thing but to buy them you need 1) the right level and completed quest 2) the money. 3: Proffesions.. nothing fancy just basically a system that you find the right stuff and can make the items... the proffesions would be: Mining, Blacksmithing, lumberjack, engineer, leatherworking and skinning. 4: Interactive ability. An ability that allows you to talk to NPCs, open gates, and more. 5: An arena so when 1 person steps in to a certain area and another in a different you can duel in an arena. I'm basically looking for: Skilled triggerer.. would like him to know some jass incase Terrainer... someone to help me do some terraining special effects person Cinematics person (can be the triggerer) Perhaps a skinner... I will do alittle of everything... We will have a website if this seems to pickup... Please post if you wish to help... **POST YOUR EMAIL AND AIM/MSN/ICQ messanger also if you have*** |

I am assuming this will be multiplayer then.. So, could you elaborate more on your planned features? Also, describe some example quests maybe? 100 different run and get x item and return to y npc wouldn't be that great. You could do the triggering for your systems yourself...don't need someone else to do it, and you would be able to edit them then. |

Is this going to span multiple maps? And will it have a save/load system? |

A 12 player map isn't particularly MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER. |

I'm always happy. Just pointing out the minor error before someone says it in a less pleasant way :) |

Well, if you don't have a team together any time soon, you might want to start on it as well, and try to show the progress you have made. My FAQ was referring to that, if I recall right. |
