Guest | I've tested, experimented, gone through old posts all over the web, and haven't found an answer..so I come to you :x How do you trigger a new map to load once you finish one, and how do you get the units you beat the first with to show up in the next without having to remake them? ~Tali |

It requires using the game cashe, you would need to create one, then store all the units to it, save it, and load the game cashe on the next map. I never really done it before because i only make multiplayer maps, but here is a thread that might help http://wc3campaigns.com/forums/showt...&threadid=3860 |

You need to use these actions: Game Cache - Create a cache named (same name as your other one that you made in the other map) Game Cache - Restore unit facing (whatever) restore label (a.k.a the name you saved the unit as. in (category that you used) from (last created game cache) Also, set unit variables to the "LAST RESTORED UNIT" to access them easier. Ta-da! You did it! This doesn't work for multiplayer, in case you didn't know... |

Guest | Isn't working for me, tried a few different actions..here's what I got at the moment. (*'s replace names) First map: Upon Victory - Game Cache - Create a game cache from *1.w3v Game Cache - Store *2 as *3 of *4 in Last created game cache Game Cache - Save Last created game cache I also tried naming the game cache and it didnt work, there wasnt an option to create a cache with a certain name.. just of a certain map. Second map: Initialization - Game Cache - Create a game cache from *1.w3v Game Cache - Restore *3 of *4 for Player 1 (Red) at (Center of *5) facing % /boggle I've tried looking for campaigns to download and check the triggers of, but any I download won't let me open with the editor. ~Tali |
