Is it possible to change difficulty in mid-campaign?

Hi, my first post to this forum! I recently started playing Warcraft III again after quite some time. Since I felt a bit rusty I chose Normal difficulty when I started playing the bonus orc campaign (The Frozen Throne). After having played through the first Act I realized it was a bit too easy for such a campaign and that I should have chosen Hard instead. However, the option of starting all over again doesn't sound too appealing and I was hoping it would be possible to change the difficulty with some kind of save game editor, but I haven't found any. So, is it possible at all?

I opened the campaigns.w3p in TextPad and found a difficulty parameter. However it didn't help to change that one (at least no visible change). Any help is welcome!

Im pretty sure that no, there isnt a difficulty changer mid way through the campaign, or some sort of save game editor or anything. Sorry about that.
