It was possible, all is explained at http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Spells&ID=836 , it is basically order bug abuse.

So essentially this is a stopgap for the current version, but a patch could destablize/destroy this methodology?

the order bug is that with skills that have the same order, they never fixed it since RoC so it is kind of hard to think they would ever fix it.

Its a nifty exploitation of the order bug, but I still think The SpellBook that appeared in Drag and Drop++ and Drag and Drop +=2 are much more useful.

If somebody (not me) were to update it to be compatible with DT4a/Drag and Drop (oh and add back ATR) I would obviously consider it a much more viable system.

That said the spellbook could interact with Dt4a's Eitems and Pitems and all sorts of other cool things. You could also add permanant passive classification and if its one without an icon (unfortuantly not many) it would be quite sweet.

On an unrelated note the Remove and Add Ability bug fixing method is amazing and I don't really care why it works sometime.

I was actuallly thinking on making a frankeinstein monster that has stuff from both of the systems.

Just making the map so people figures about it.

Tooltip errors and buff errors (i.e. some spells when upgraded to a level don't update thier buff, or if done by triggers will not show thier tooltip updates correctly) if you remove the ability then add it right back and set its level to the correct one fixes these errors. It's quite nifty.

Weaaddar, I just found a fix to it the other day.

Add and remove any other ability.

on invx I have a dummy ability based from dispel magic that I add and remove to update the ui
