Guest | Use a self-targeting spell, like the chemical rage of the alchemist |

The spell used in a dummy spell is entirely dependent upon the nature of the spell you wish to create. There is no one universal spell that is the "best." |

Guest | Hmmmm, do you not know about Channel? It's MADE to be a dummy spell. It has no effect at all, and it's very customizable. THe only thing it does is allow you to change what it does and what it targets, things like that. Just remember to go to stats - options and check the visible box so you can see it. |

Guest | Make a new spell, and under the hro section click channel. It won't be found if you use the ctrl +F function since Blizzard didn't use it in their campaigns. When you make it, it's just like any other spell except it has more feilds for more customizability. Here are a few important feilds: Follow through time: This is the time it takes to actually channel the spell. So when you cast the spell, if Follow through time has a number greater than 0 in it it will make the caster take thatmuch time to channel the ability. Set this to 0 if you don't want it to be a channeling ability. Options: When you first start out using Channel, all you need to worry about is the "visible" check, check that box if youw ant the spell to be visible by the caster. Target type: This defines if you target a point, target a unit, or if you can target a point and a unit. Art duration: This is how long the special effects last, so if you want them to alst a while than set the higher, and vice-versa. If you need mroe detail, just ask me. |

Yes, channel works very well. ^_^. The best dummy spell i've come across so far. Just look how blizzard used it for azeroth grand prix. |
