I'm in the process of creating a new DotA map. I know you're thinking, "ha, its going to fail", etc. But I want to complete it and update it every so often. Like what TDA has done with DotA Allstars. This is a different DotA. Instead the teams are Human Resistance and Orc Invaders. Its basically the same, but with all new heroes and stuff. I need help with triggers, hero balancing, hero ideas, etc, etc. If you want to help, PM me and I will tell you my MSN and such. I really want to get this going. |

I've always wanted to make my own DotA. With my own hero ideas and such. I've also wanted to always make my own little DotA community and tournaments. I hope it gets big. Hopefully I can begin releasing the Alpha version by next weekend. I just have troubles with triggers and I don't quite understand them. |

Ermm, you have trouble with triggers eh? I hope you arn't simply stealing them from other maps.... |

I haven't even started triggers yet. No, I won't simply steal them. I want this to be purely made by me and whoever wants to help. |

Guest | I encourage you to try, but you need to think of some new things that will set it apart from those other DoTA maps. Maybe it could be a civil war, a modern theme, a war between Atlantis and the scourge. I don't know. Do you have any ideas for new gameplay? |

Guest | Just so you know, if the only difference between your maps is new spells/units it will fail because it would be mroe work for the people playing it to actually learn, than just playing the other DoTA. You have to wildly change gamplay to be succesful, or at least make an impact. |

Guest | Hope also, that you understand a bit of programming, 'cause those AoS maps ( i have on on project, actually 3 forces and a damn fight at middle (some extras like, rebellions and pirates fuckin up the game... But it envolves a lot of programming those triggers, my first map was a Maze with demon hunter, i think i'll post it here, single player a simple leaderboard (i still fuck my multi boards) Get my msn, is : [email protected] I Will to help you, if the map fails? huh, whatever, at least you've learned, a lot =D |
