This map is a tag style/pest invasion map.
There are two teams.
Force 1: Apprentince Mages
Force 2:Demons
The goal for the mages is to destroy all the demons main buildings(Curropted ancient/portal/graveyard)
The goal for the demons is to kill all the Apprentince Mages.
When an Apprentince Mage dies, he becomes a wisp in the center of the map. Other mages can kill the wisp for 2wood, and to revive the mage.

If the demons kill a mage they get 10gold. If they kill a normal unit/wall/tower they get 1 gold.
At the start the demons can pick to train 3 groups of units.
Curropted Ancients: Very fast, but weak, have high hp regen.
Demons: Strong, slow.
Undead: They get meduim strength units overtime based on the number of wisps in the center.

The mages can build a huge vairty of towers/walls/units. They must research elemental magics which cost wood to get these. Each mage starts with 15 wood. Towers can require 1 or 2 types of magic at different levels. For example Hell Fire tower requires 3 Death and 3 Fire. Wailing Winds requires 6 Death. Getting 6 levels in a type of magic also gives your mage a spell.
The types of magic are:
Death: Strong, slow damage. Walls have high hp but degenerate during the day.
Fire: Splash, and meduim direct damage. Walls have immolation
Astral: Long range, random damage. Walls have 1hp but have luck(An 80% chance to dodge an attack)
Air: Long range, fast, low damage.(Walls cast cyclone)
Nature: Low/meduim damage. Hp regeneration on walls/towers.(walls have hp regen)
Earth: High in hp. Three upgrades of walls with huge hp
Water: HUGE Splash low damage long range.Three upgrades of walls with slowing abilites.

Around the map there are also hidden magic sites. These can be controlled by attacking them. They allow you to train additional units and get builders with towers/walls.
What I currently need help on is:
Balance, are some towers to good compared to others?
Are some walls way togood.
Are some magics obsolete(there is no point in getting them cause X magic is so much better)

Are demonic units to strong/weak?
When I play demons I can win in 15 minutes vrs 9 people. When 3 demons play agains 3 people the demons often lose if they are noob, what can I do to make it easier for noobs to learn/win?
Also, what can I do to make the demons funner to play.

Well that sounds like a good map, but could you post some screenshots? I don't have WC3 on this computer, but I want to see this game in action. Also, I like how you did the different types of magic, it makes the map have differences each time you play.

well take the shot, convert it to jpg and then put them as attachment and put them into the post.
If you need a good file converter I suggest Irfanview

Here are a bunch of screen shots, these are mainly from the hunters side. They show me channeling a horror which is a siege spell used to break through enemy defenses. They show blues towers+walls they show me perparing to suround blue. Several pictures also green creatures which are manikins, fast weak hp regenerating creatures.

I wish there were some shots of you two fighting... Any I think that you terrain layout looks good (not too predictable) I think that the farms are a little out of place on that tileset. Could you change them for another building model?

Here are some more screen shots. This map has gotten to the point where it is pretty much done except for balance. So I am starting another project, and will meanwhile make changes based on what I hear here/when I host

I like that screenie with the plague bolts, just looks cool. Well I'm glad that you're near done have fun :sarcasm: with the balancing.

I am not sure I am understanding you/you are me. I am going to continue to host this and make changes based on what I hear there. But I probaly won't be making any new races for evil, or a new set of towers. When I am not testing this, I will be working on my new map.
