Guest | Okay, well it's been awhile since I've been on here, and Warcraft for that matter. I've been very occupied with WoW, but eventually it started getting slow, so I cam eback to WC3. I felt the need to make a Rend Blackhand skin, as he is seen in WoW, but, I had to go by only what I've see of him, I'm only level 45 therefor I can't go see him. Well the skin kind of looks like Rend, but it came out more looking like the new Blackrock Orcs perhaps a Blackrock Blademaster for WoW? Tell me what you think this is my first skin. >_> ![]() I don't know how to upload so here's a link. :( http://img186.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img1...lscream3ee.png |

And this ladies and gentlemen, is living proof that says just because its your first skin, dosnt mean you have to spend the whole of 5 seconds in paint on it and go "OMG! I'm a newb and this is my first skin, isnt it cool?, dont flame me for posting this useless piece of sewerage, i'm a newb and you have to be nice to me." Just because your a newb, dosnt mean you have to do crap work, just spend more time on it and ask for techniques. Anyway, supurb work there, although it looks more like an undead orc than Rend, v nice skin none the less. |

Guest | Yes, I do use the dodge, and burn tool. I'd also love to post the skin in action, but my Warcraft III Viewer doesn't seem to be working, when I open it, the box where there is usually the models, and stuff is just white. I have all the options, and such, but the place where I view stuff is white, it's wierd. |

He's saying hes a good skinner...which he is |

so i thought. dont use the dodge and burn tool. use multiple shades of a swatch/color. 100% for base and 50% opacity for shades after. and you'll find the result will be much better. good work btw. |

Nice skin there. Kinda suprised you said 'first skin' after 'first posted skin', so I assume you have skins done before this. |

Just to clear things up, i'm saying he's a good skinner. I'm sick and tired of "rainbow abominations" popped up all over the forums with people running around saying its their first skin so dont say its crap because they didnt actually try. This skin looks like Winner spent a fair bit of time and effort on it, and even if he wasnt particulary good (which he is), enough time will create a good skin anyway. Too many people seem to rush stuff like skinning and end up making crap. |

Guest | In responce to what Alfred said this is technically my first skin, I used to just do alot of experimenting with skins before now, but never actually finished a skin. |
