Why won't this work?

I want to make the ability, phoenix fire, to require an upgrade before it can be used...Well I tried this and yet it still works without having the upgrade researched. Any answers?

Is a Triggered Spell, can we get to see the trigger of it?

Somewhere below, any ability has a "requirement" field. Make the requirement field have your upgarde in it, and it should work.

Also make sure the ability isn't set to ignore requirements, if you haven't done so already.
If you can't find any other way, just add the ability to the proper units when the upgrade is researched, and whenever a unit of that type enters playable map area afterwards.

I did put the requirements... , but it didn't work..

Phoenix Fire is odd, it seems to ignore a lot of the ability fields.
