Warcraft II Aeon

I had been plotting out a Aeon type map with warcraft II and lower units. Using elven archers, troll axe throwers, death knights, ogres + ogre magi as units to clash, while having heros such as alleria, danith, uther, turalon, lothar, zulgin, hellscream, ect.

plus some pre-warII people/people not NPCs in warII such as blackhand, and that one grunt who I always wanted in war2 but never was, who's name escapes me at the moment.

I am pretty sure I could handle the project solo (for the most part), however, with the skills being pretty much the same as those from war2, some of which including spells from their war3 counterparts, I feel the way I planned out the heros to be ... boring.

for example:
Paladin skills
Heal (holy light)
Holy Vision (kinda useless mostly, but of course, Farsight)
_________ ( prob would be some aura... devotion knowing me)
Ressurection (no other fitting ultimate)


now, I could get creative and try to make some outlandish spells and stuff, but ti just wouldn't feel coherent to the war2 basics...

What do you guys think?

yes, basicly. A DotA style map, but with heros based off of people in the past warcraft games (not 3) and story from before 3. I figured it would be neat to have the unseen or forgotten heros clash in a dota type map. ^_^

Khadgar
Alleria

Blackhand
Zuljin
Gul'dan
(I need to check out War II Map Editor for more oldschool heros)



Any suggestions?
