Church shots

I was listening to a hymn and decided to terrain a Church.

Almost all of the doodads are reinless' stair doodad. I also decided to test some to methods while terraining...

I was not working with the outside much, I know its empty and boring but the inside is what i was working with.

Hey Blitzkreige - Good inspiration of a Hymn to make you terrain a Church. I think the concept was there and implemented well too. However, I did struggle to interpret what the fourth image was/is, it didn't seem to fit in.

Your relvolutionary use of stairs as a wall is an excellent feature, but is it meant to feel so 'open' ? I noticed a lot of people will have buildings with roofs. The most popular use seems to be the Stone Archway, in the Cityscape/Dalaran or Sunken Ruins tile sets, adjusted to a custom size to fit over the building.

Also for the second structure, the one with the purple type portal, away from the church, I think would look awesome between high rocky mountains, or jus even high mountains, so the building appears to be 'built in' to the mountain. I know the focus wasn't the surroundings of the buildings, and is the inside detail themselves, but i couldn't help and notice how awesome that would look. But thats just my personal opinion - feel free to disregard it ^_^ . The second building looks more 'complete' with that roof (At least it looked like a good roof in one of you screenshots!!).

I know how hard it can be to think of creavtive ways to fill blanks in the inside of a building too. Though what you have there is great, especially the cross, perhaps you could add a statue, in one central point, or two statues at opposite end of the building, facing each other, and decorated or fill in the space with doodads around the statue(s).

Whar ever you chose to do though Blitzkreige, good luck with it, hope my comments and suggestions help.

Nothing too do with the church, but not worthy to a thread:

Create your custom doodad with the model of a "Brazier" and then set the (z scale) to 1 or less, you now have a Floor-tile in fire-style..
