Flesh Tones in Skinning

I've been trying to use a more traditional method of painting for my skins and I'd like some suggestions. This is still a little early in progress but I guess you could say I'm stuck. Help with colors, anatomy, and anything else would be appreciated.

It's a good quality, for a skin.
The problems:
You inversed the shading for the cheek. lok at anyone and you'll see what i mean.
The eyes and the mouth are too little... the nose is wrong... and a lot of others minor problems...
The colors seem good, though peoples are generally less colored (more pale, less red)

This almost seems like cheating, I found a great aspect of photoshop that lets me adjust colors easily with very little effort. I've been playing around with the colors for awhile....hopefully I'll be able to do more tomorrow.

The womrskullized part is better, but it's really too sketchy.

That's because all he does are sketches.. The tones seemed pretty good in the first pic, on second pic the skin's too yellow. Or maybe it's just that your from south and I'm from north so that people's skins are more red here. Don't know, but the first looked healthier. And yes, maybe there are too much details for unit face? Don't know, haven't skinned that much...
