Ok, I'd screw the Team Colors on the back, and put them on the top of the abdomin instead. That way it'll be more noticable ingame.

You could always replace all of the yellow gliphs with team color gliphs as well, and that would be badass!

Lastly, I'd give the thing some wicked eyes. Just two of them, but make them a deep red and have them look very evil.

Nice skin though, neat texture.

I tried to get the designs on the spider to become team color but only the ones on the butt worked why? Insaniteus, I added deep red eyes :D but the team color won't come out anywhere but the A**! Any idea why??? emote_confused

Oh yeah, Team colors are built into the model and only work in certian places. Forgot about that. Find someone who can edit models to make the Team Colors apply whereever you want them.

the mdx file tells the model that there are certain places that have an underlying team color, and some places that don't. that's why when you alpha chanel some things, they turn transparent, and when you alpha out other things they turn team color.

You can tell what areas have an underlying teamcolor by looking at the transparent version of the unit when you select it from the unit list, but before you actually place it in world editor. Depending on the team that's selected, these areas should appear reddish, bluish, etc.

Only the colors on the "butt" worked because that is a separate mesh from the rest of the body. The separate mesh has team color settings, while the main body doesn't. The "shoulders" on the very front arms also are part of the team color mesh, so you should be able to put some there if you want.
