Hey

I'm making an Arena map, and i was wondering if AMAI supports AI for single units, with no base? EG Heroes or Creeps? To make them act more cool, rather than rushing to a designated point...

What i need it for is:
A: NPC Heroes
B: More fun in the game with intelligent Creeps.

If it's possible, is there a tutorial somewhere? If so, a link would be nice.

Sorry. No such functionility exists as of yet for amai. I am aware of such modding issues with amai and maybe one day such a system could be done. But no such system has yet to be planned.

One nice editor update for next version is the option to turn off dependency of heroes. I.e units will attack without waiting upon a hero therefore making amai compatible for maps/mods which do not have heroes. This wont turn of heroes completly so that they no longer train. If a startegy trains hero it will and still use them even if dependency is off.

This type of functionility allows for greater modding opportunities then just completly making them not trainable as some mods with heroes may want to make units attack independently with there actions not affected by whether hero is trained or not.

Hmmm... Too bad... You should really add some sort of hero AI, just to push the AMAI even further... Well... I've read a little, and you say the AI uses a Strategy depending on the players CR... Would it be possible to make alot of buildings, and make it send "creeps", in waves, depending on the level of heroes... The reason i want AMAI, is that it seems really effective, and i'm not sure i'd be able to do it as good...
