damage system, how does it work?

So how? there is dice and a lot of stuff....

Units do variable damage.

The base damage is always the same.
The variation comes from the many-side "dice", which are numbers that are randomly chosen for each attack.

It's (Base + Number of Dice) to (Base + (Number of Dice * Sides of Dice)).
If your unit does 10 damage plus 2 dice with 5 sides, its damage output is 12 to 20.
