I was just kind wondering who uses the We Grid, you know the grid that ALWAYS there when you start it up. As for me i hate it and turn it off right away.

i use it all the time when raiseing and lowing terrain, just as a guide line to make sure the terrain flows naturaly in both dimentions

Yeah. It can be very useful. I've been working on Minas Tirith for some time now, and the grid is invaluable for symmetry, and also when I've been doing the pathing .tga's.

So, to answer your question. Yes, I do.

I find the grid very useful for ramps, it shows a blue line where they are, but I turn it off if I need to zoom out or view entire map, as it lags quite a bit.

I love the grid. Helps keep your terrain from being all spikey and unnatural.

Why isnt there a "sometimes" ...i only use it when raising terrain and it needs to be precise....and when doing ramps....other than that its off the rest of the time.....not that i terrain much anymore....
